Ziekte van Kahler

Het Multipel Myeloom/ziekte van Kahler is een kanker van plasmacellen. Plasmacellen zijn een van de soorten afweercellen van ons lichaam. Bij het Multipel Myeloom groeien en delen de kwaadaardige kankercellen zich op meerdere plekken in het beenmerg. De plasmacellen blijven zich steeds maar delen (ongeremde celdeling).

Door een chronische afweer tegen siliconen kan Multipel Myeloom geactiveerd worden.
