Getextureerde implantaten

In 2018 werd bekend dat als implantaten getextureerd zijn (geruwd / met een ruwe buitenkant - ook wel BIOCELL genoemd) risico gaven op ALCL (kanker van het immuunsysteem)

Vanwege het verhoogd risico op ALCL is in 2019 een groot gedeelte van deze implantaten van de markt gehaald en kregen zij geen nieuw CE keurmerk:
